I began my career as an educator in 1992. I earned a B.A in Sociology from the University of Arizona in 1992, a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 1997, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with distinction from Northern Arizona University in 2000. I also have endorsements in Early Childhood (Birth-Age 8) and K-12 English as a Second Language.
I started my educational career at Yavapai College in Prescott and then taught for 10 years in Cottonwood and Apache Junction in Arizona. I moved on to the Coolidge Unified School District where I was an Assistant Principal for 6 years and then promoted to a Principal position for 3 years. I moved to the Florence Unified School District where I continued my administrative career for two years before accepting my current position as Principal for LFPA.
I have worked hard during my career and gained a lot of knowledge and experience throughout this time. I have been through many leadership trainings that have helped me grow as an educational leader. I use my knowledge and training towards making a difference in education. I look forward to working with the families, staff, and students at Learning Foundation and Performing Arts Warner Campus to move the school forward and in the process becoming a part of the Wildcat family.
