Learning Foundation Kindergarten-Prep Preschool
March 30, 2020
Gov. Ducey and Superintendent Hoffman released a joint statement:
“In alignment with yesterday’s updated federal guidance, today we are announcing the extension of school closures through the remainder of the school year. Today’s announcement is intended to give parents and educators as much certainty as possible so they can plan and make decisions. While this isn’t the outcome any of us wanted, we are grateful for the partnership of schools around the state who have stepped up to offer virtual and take-home learning opportunities for our students. These efforts are crucial, and we recognize that schools are making every effort possible to continue providing instruction during closures”.
The health and well-being of our students and staff continues to be a top priority. There have been no known cases of COVID-19 in our schools, but we will continue to pro-actively plan for all possible scenarios.
We are monitoring the Coronavirus, COVID19, situation and will continue to work directly with state and local public health officials to stay updated regarding health advisories and to take all cautionary measures. We ensure our parents and students that all Learning Foundation schools will be completely sanitized when school resumes.
For the 2020-2021 school year LFPA will offer a full-time and part-time Pre-Kindergarten childcare schedule, Monday through Friday, for children three to five years of age. (All children must be potty trained to be accepted) For more information email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Learning Foundation Preschool Vision is to offer a strong foundation for learning in a safe and structured environment supported by trained and caring staff that ensures all children become efficient and successful students.
The Learning Foundation Preschool Mission is for administration and staff to share the responsibility of modeling and teaching the essential academics, performing arts skills, and life skills necessary to inspire children and encourage them to become responsible, contributing and successful members of society.
Learning Foundation Preschool administration and staff believe children are very special and unique individuals and by building upon each child’s strong character traits, every child will be successful. Learning Foundation Preschool offers a full curriculum taught by teachers who are experienced and certificated. Our teachers strive to impart a solid foundation of education that motivates children to become successful learners. Our program is designed to give your child a jump-start to becoming a prepared and eager student ready for the rigors of kindergarten. Students are provided a variety of daily activities that encourage learning in math, language, thinking skills, hands on centers, social skills and growth development. Our goal is to create an environment where children can be achievers when they have opportunities to explore their world with the partnerships of parents and teachers encouraging and leading the way.
Our ability to house our preschool within a K-6th grade Arizona public school and provide a low teacher-student ratio helps to create an educational environment where children have the opportunity to begin learning the fundamentals that will support their continuing academic experience.
