National Board Certification (NBC) is a voluntary, advanced teaching credential that goes beyond state licensure. NBC has national standards for what accomplished teachers should know and be able to do. The National Board certifies teachers who successfully complete its rigorous certification process.

Miss Malpass, LFPA Assistant Principal, ELL, and TITLE 1 Director, was recognized for achieving her National Board Teaching Certification. This certification has only been achieved by less than 2,000 teachers in the state of Arizona. Arizona is the 17th ranked state for teachers achieving their National Boards. This is the most respected Professional Certification available in K-12 education. Make sure when you see her to congratulate her on a job well done!

Thank you and congratulations Miss Malpass!
